June 24,25 Card order meet
The June card order meet was a great success! Guests started arriving Friday at noon and soon trains where up and running till 11:00pm. A group breakfast was held at 7:30am and all the steamers where fired and in the main yard by 9:00am. crew assignments and a general briefing was held at 9:30am and the clock started at 10:00 sharp. Thanks to the many members of the Ocala model railroaders for volunteering as crew members such as conductors and brakeman. At any given time there where more than six trains running as way freights and local freights and one passenger train  running on a time table.
 At 5:00pm dinner was served thanks to Bob and Bev kiser they supplied and cooked fried gator tail, frog legs, shrimp,hush puppies, chicken, jalapeno poppers the list goes on! After dinner trains continued running till 10:00pm and thanks to Paul and his power point projector we watched all the video that was taken that day on a 10'x10' foot screen, it was like a drive in movie for train fans!.
